The POP UP SHOP featuring "kiiks," a natural cosmetics brand directed by Kiko Mizuhara, and "BOTANICANON," an ethical and sustainable cosmetics brand originating from Kagoshima, started at Yamakataya in Kagoshima!
kiiks makes its debut at Yamakataya for the first time!
Since its launch in 2024, its concept revolves around “utilizing the natural blessings handed down from ancient times and sharing the benefits of yet undiscovered herbs and plants with the world,” aiming for a fulfilling lifestyle and creating products that are pleasant for both ourselves and the Earth.
We offer the 100% naturally derived whipped multi-balm "HAMANASU ROSE BALM," a bamboo water facial mist made from nature's blessings, and the "Green Tea Seed Hair Oil" developed in collaboration with close friend model Rola, themed around environmental protection and community revitalization.
BOTANICANON is based in Minami Osumi Town, at the southernmost tip of the Osumi Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, repurposing a former elementary and middle school into a cosmetics factory. They continue to create sustainable cosmetics leveraging nature in collaboration with local farmers and municipalities under the concept of "locally produced cosmetics" and "cosmetics that resemble food." Their offerings include skincare, hair care, and cold process soaps that are 100% natural, alcohol and chemical-free and gentle on both the skin and the environment.
On April 5th (Saturday), Kiko Mizuhara will be visiting Kagoshima!
A talk show with Yasuyuki Kuroki from the Botanical Factory will be held at Yamakataya.
